Guide to the 2027 US trade shows you shouldn't miss
How to read this guide
In 2027, the US trade shows that really matter for those exporting from Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Latin America are just over thirty. We have selected them in six sectors: Food, Wine, Spirits and Beer, Cosmetics, Home and Design, Fashion and Jewellery.
Each sector is divided into two levels, based on the profile of the buyers seen in previous editions:
- High TierNational chains, large distributors, the three-tier system wholesaler. They require volumes, landed prices, full compliance (FDA, MOCRA, TTB/COLA) and often an already active importer.
- Tier Medio: independent importers, specialized retail, horeca, sommeliers, LATAM buyers. Smaller volumes, more accessible formats: ideal for testing the market.
Status of the dates. “Confirmed” = announced by the organizer. “To be confirmed” = taken from third-party calendars or estimated based on historical cycles. Latest edition = 2026 if already underway, otherwise 2025. The current costs are in dollars per square meter (1 m² = 10.76 sq ft).
Food
The Summer Fancy Food Show and Expo West remain the events with the most qualified buyers; for a first entry, Americas Food & Beverage in Miami is the most accessible door, even towards South America.

Liquors, beer and spirits
In spirits, buyers meet more in the on-premise channel than in the pavilions: Bar Convent Brooklyn and Tales of the Cocktail are the places where cocktail bar listings are born. Miami Rum Congress is the showcase for rum and Latin American distillates.

Agency prices include their margin: for the NRA Show, the agency charges about 890 USD/m² compared to about 560 from the organizer. It is always advisable to ask for the list price directly from the organizer or join a national collective (ICE, ICEX, Business France, GTAI), often co-financed. Conversion used for prices in yuan: 1 USD ≈ 7.1 CNY, indicative.
How to choose the right fair
The right fair depends on how ready the company is for the US market, not on its size.
- First time in the USA: Start with a Tier Medium (Winter FancyFair, Americas Food & Beverage, Vinexpo Americas, Cosmoprof Miami) or a national collective in the Tier High fairs.
- Companies from Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela and the Caribbean: Focus on Miami (Americas Food & Beverage, Vinexpo Americas, Cosmoprof Miami, Miami Rum Congress), where Latin American buyers also arrive.
- Already active importer or distributor: Focus on the high tier of your sector and schedule the meetings before the fair.
- Large volumes or private brand: PLMA and Expo West for food, Cosmopack at Cosmoprof Las Vegas for cosmetics.
Before booking the stand
